Later, future versions of Ben, Blake and Francesca return to kill Stenger, though their plan falls apart, leaving Blake shot and Francesca taken captive. After blinking away to May of 1999 and being trained by an alternate version of himself, Ben returns to save the day and kill Stenger by highway overpass.
