Walter finds Buddy sleeping in the Gimbel's department store window. Buddy gets arrested for assaulting a department store Santa. After bailing him out and taking him to his doctor for a paternity test, Walter takes him home.

Walter's boss demands a new book when he returns on the 24th. Buddy helps his new brother Daniel win a snowball fight.

Walter puts Buddy to work in the mail room. Walter's top writers suggest bringing in famed children's author Miles Finch to help them with the new book that Walter's boss is demanding. Buddy and Jovie go on a date.

Famed children's author Miles Finch flies in to help Walter with a new book. Santa crashes in Central Park. Buddy fixes the sleigh while Movie starts an impromptu sing-along to raise Christmas cheer.
