        • Twelve years ago, a jewel thief's fence stashed his stolen gemstones in a safety deposit box at Mann Chandler Bank (then known as Mann Chandler Limited Bank). Shortly after that, the fence was killed for shopping around the jewels, and the thief fled the country. Then, a few weeks before the events of the movie, the bank flooded when the Ohio River overflowed, and they told their customers to come in and collect their property, or their safety deposit boxes would be moved to a different location. The thief, unable to return to the country, hired a team to rob the bank and retrieve his gemstones. That bank robbery went south.
