January 18, 1976 Pilot and former Vietnam POW Michael Lander and Palestinian terrorist group Black September operative Dahlia Iyad plot to detonate a bomb attached to the Goodyear blimp over the Miami Orange Bowl during Super Bowl X. While he succeed in flying the blimp straight into the Super Bowl, causing mass panic and destruction in the stadium, Israeli counter-terrorist Mossad agent David Kabakov is able to hook the blimp his helicopter and haul it out of the panicked stadium and over the ocean, where the bomb explodes. |
