	Project LEDA There was a scientific study from the 1970s that resulted in an illegal human cloning project. Initially run as a military operation, it was eventually compartmentalized into two autonomous operations: The Dyad Institute carried biologically female clones to term in Project LEDA, and the military faction carried biologically male clones to term in Project CASTOR. Named after the mythical Leda, queen of Sparta and mother of Helen of Troy, Castor and Pollux.
