According to her calendar, Tricia goes down on a guy and has sex with him outside. (15 year-old Tricia sleeps with a bunch of guys as research for her book about male sexual prowess in the 90s. She codes her research on a calendar: the smiley face is when she goes down on the guy. The smiley face with lashes is for when the goes down on her. The circle is for when they have sex. The circle with an "X" in it is for when she has an orgasm. The little house is for when they do it inside and the grass is for outside.) Since it has been confirmed in the Clerks: The Lost Scene comic that Julie Dwyer dies on April 15, and Mallrats takes place the day before Clerks, that puts this date in the future. So, either Tricia plans ahead or this is a simple continuity error.
