        • Margaret visits the House of Games in order to help her patient Billy Hahn, who owes money to Mike. Mike and his friends attempt to con her out of $6,000, but the con fails when Margaret spots water dripping out of George's water gun.

      • May 13, 1987
        • Margaret returns to the House of Games, looking for Mike, finding him at Charlie's Tavern. She tells him she wants to write about him. He teaches her a con at Western Union, then takes her to a hotel. After they have sex in a stranger's room, she joins him in a scheduled con.

      • May 14, 1987
        • After joining Mike in a con and staying a hotel room overnight, the con goes bad, and their mark, which turns out to be a cop, gets killed. Mike convinces her to steal a car to get away from the hotel, and the gang splits up. Later, Margaret's patient Billy stops by to tell her he has to go out of town, and then when he leaves, she spots him in the stolen car and follows him to Charlie's Tavern, where he leads her to Mike. She follows Mike to the airport, where she shoots and kills him.

        • Stuart Malick finds a mysterious metallic cylinder. Henry Jacobson: Master Sergeant Stuart Malick. He was at his post at the Marine base on the night of June 22nd. His job was to watch the motion sensors. Perimeter security, to ensure that there was no breach at the base. Except on that night, the sensors went nuts. What he found was this - a metallic cylinder, 24 inches tall, 12 inches in diameter. He assumed it fell from the sky, that perhaps it was a piece of a satellite, except it wasn't. Stranger still, although it seemed to be a solid piece of hard metal, it was vibrating. I was called in to investigate. We determined it was transmitting something, a signal that we couldn't decode. Forty-eight hours after we found it, there was an explosion unlike anything I'd ever seen. It went through the floor to the basement below. It exploded down, and was gone. Julian visits his uncle, who tells him he can't give him the money. Julian goes to see Rip while Clay and Blair have dinner at Clay's house. Bill takes Julian to a motel to pay off some of the money he owes Rip and Julian runs, showing up at Clay's house and stealing Clay's mother's jewelry. Clay and Blair go looking for Julian. They find him waiting for them back at the loft and he's a mess.

        • Clay and Blair take care of Julian. Clay visits Rip, telling him to leave Julian alone, he will get him the money he owes him. Clay and Blair find the loft vandalized, then drive to Palm Springs looking for Julian. Clay finds him working off his debt to Rip. He takes him out of the hotel, but Rip and Bill follow them back to a nightclub and there's a big fight.
        • A fire starts at 9:45pm on Christmas Day in the highly locked Cell Block F at Shawshank State Prison on Reformatory Road. (Season 1 episode The Box)
