Stranger still, although it seemed to be a solid piece of hard metal, it was vibrating. I was called in to investigate. We determined it was transmitting something, a signal that we couldn't decode. Forty-eight hours after we found it, there was an explosion unlike anything I'd ever seen. It went through the floor to the basement below. It exploded down, and was gone.
